Late July through August was brutally hot and dry with no rain at all for about 40 consecutive days. Finally a cool front blew in and brought a bit of rain and nice temperatures for Labor Day.


Rusty Pearson recently caught this 6 pound bass in front of our Round The Bend cabin.


Recently we replaced the roofs on the gazebo, shop, and the paddle and life jacket depot.




In August we paved the southern end of our store parking lot so that we could better accommodate motorcycles.
. We also paved the parking area near restroom building. Hopefully this will help relieve congestion around store.







Arkansas' Mulberry River Video
We now have for sale a video of the Mulberry River.
Producer Matt Farrell shot over thirty hours of footage that he then edited down to just under one hour. Local paddler Chip Andrus contributed background music as did Matt. We attempted to show the highlights of the Mulberry from Wolf Pen to Mill Creek in an informative and entertaining way. You can call us at (479) 667-3641 to order a copy.
