Byrds Adventure Center: A large private campground 8 miles upriver from Turner
Bend. Byrds hosts many special events for ORV/ATV enthusiasts. They also host
a chuckwagon race, an adventure race, and a biker rally. Contact Byrds at

Mulberry Mountain: A large campground and lodging facility about 4 miles north on the Pig Trail. They host the Pig Trail Biker Rally, the Ole Applegate Craft Fair, Wakarusa Music Festival and the Harvest Music Festival. Contact them at mulberrymountainlodge.com.
White Rock Mountain: Rustic cabins and a campground sit atop this spectacular mountain in the heart of the Ozark National Forest. Call 479-369-4128 for cabin information
Ozark National Forest: Hundreds of square miles of publicly owned property
covering the beautiful Boston Mountains. Mountain biking, hunting, camping,

from Turner Bend.

Shores Lake: This small, mountain-surrounded lake was built by hand in the
1930's. The U.S. Forest Service has a nice campground here, with a few site
that have electric hookups. Just 10 miles from Turner Bend.
