TURNER BEND CAMPGROUND

$6.00 per person per night.

We have restrooms with hot showers, good river access, picnic shelters, and plenty of parking spots. For the busy spring weekends we will take campsite reservations from our canoe rental customers only. We reserve the right to locate your group in the site that best suits the number of people in your group. We do not have hookups.

Our campground is located directly across Highway 23 from the store. We have 14 designated sites and a small overflow area. Nine of the sites have shelters. All of the sites have picnic tables and fire rings. We also have one large campsite with a gazebo on the east side of Hwy 23 near our river access and rental cabin.

By 11:00 p.m. we ask that all campers turn off stereos and generators and tone all noise down to a reasonable level.

Off-road vehicle use limited to entry and exit only. ORV use on Highway 23 is illegal.

Camping is also available at Redding, Wolf Pen, Shores Lake, and White Rock National Forest campgrounds. Primitive camping is allowed on National Forest property. Byrd's also has a large campground located 8 miles upriver. Mullbery Mountain Resort has recently opened a large campground for RV's about 5 miles north on Hwy 23.
